Preservative-treated

Preservative-treated is a type of constructuion consisting of a pressure treated wood footing plate foundation resting on a gravel drainage bed, pressure tread (Presered Wood Foundation) bottom and top plates, studs and blocking, with pressure treated plywood as outside cladding, and a polyethylene sheet for added dampproofind. The space between studs may be filled with insulation.
