Building-related illness is a medical condition caused by the building environment and frequently involoving and in fection; differs from Sick Building Syndrome in that a building related ilness is substantiated by clinical and laboratory findings. For example, Legionnaire's Disease, in which micro-organisms are spread by air conditioning systems.
