Time delay fuse

Time delay fuse is an overcurrent device which allows a large surge current for a short period of time but will pen if current demand is over its predetermined smaller rating on a continuous basis; used primarily to protect electric motor circuits, large appliances and stationary power tools. Also called a tye D fuse.
